01. I drew the trunk. I made it bent to make it look like the trunk of a palm.
02. I made that "leaf cluster"-thing, don't know what it is called, but I will forthwith call it a "branch".
03. Made one more.
04. One more.
05. In fact, one more.
06. And one more on top of that.
07. You know what I did at this point, one "branch" more.
08. I did one last.
09. I made the trunk thinner, it looked wrong when it was too thick.
10. Colored the trunk in a brown-greyish color.
11. I made those "lines" that a palm often have that divides the "layers" of the trunk.
12. I colored the "branches" in a green color.
13. I made darker lines in the middle of the "branches", notice that they aren't in the middle in the drawing, they are on the top to give a 3D-feeling.
14. Made some highlights at the parts of the "branches" that I think would point up and catch the sun.
15. Added some lines that went out in 90 degree lines from the middle, darker line. They are used to give the feeling of separated leaves.
